Commitment to Surgical Education
In addition to delivering GP education and advanced surgical courses, SCOPE offers a competitive 12-month surgical fellowship, providing comprehensive exposure to minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. The fellowship training is delivered through Epworth Freemasons Hospital, with mentorship from multiple advanced gynaecologists and subspecialists.
Dr Yong regularly educates general practitioners on the assessment and management of pelvic floor disorders, supporting early diagnosis and appropriate referral pathways.
He also leads hands-on workshops for specialists, focusing on the management of complex pelvic floor conditions, including mesh-free surgical techniques and contemporary pelvic reconstructive surgery using minimally invasive approaches.
